Global climate change is the most severe survival challenge facing humanity in this century. The rapid change of ecosystem, as well as extreme meteorological disasters such as high temperature, rainstorm, drought and hurricane caused by climate change, have taken a toll on our natural environment and communities.
Adhering to the vision of "a beautiful and shared future home", Vanke Foundation is one of the earliest public welfare foundations in China to pay attention to and take actions to address climate change. Since its establishment in 2013, the Foundation has determined to address climate change issues, and by collaborating with governments, social organizations, research institutions, and other parties, it aims to protect climate sensitive regional ecosystems, promote corporate climate response actions, and paly a role in global climate governance.
